Fantasy 2012 - The Fantasy Season

Anyone have any radical plans for the season?

Same old leagues as before, or are we planning something new.

If we get a league that has a large amount of B/S members be it Mission's league, or Zito's, I am willing to give up one of the Matt Stairs autographed baseballs as a trophy. I'll get a case, put the ball in it, make some sort of stand with a spot to add your name to the list of champions, and send it to the winner of this years fantasy league.

I think this would be perfect for Mission's, since he's ran a keeper league for the past few years.

My league has people from outside B/S, while his is strictly just the forum.

I could use a challenge since I won both leagues, I think anything that Matt Stairs has ever touched would motivate some people.

Keeper leagues are a lot of fun. I'm up for it.
How about a dynasty league (including minor leaguers)?

Re: 2012 - The Fantasy Season

We did a (sort of) Dynasty league a few years back(Porter, myself and a few others from chat), where you drafted minor leaguers and had to add them when they got to 130 AB-50IP-or 25/30G, or they'd become free agents.

It was pretty fun, a little bit of tracking work for a single person, and the league had to pay attention to stuff they wouldn't normally have to, but I'd definately be down for something like that, again.

Re: 2012 - The Fantasy Season

I have put together a keeper league in ESPN. If you want in, PM me your address and I'll send an invite.

Its set to 16 teamer, 4 keepers (there is a catch to the 4th keeper, must be a guy with 2 or less years experience if applicable), draft is tentatively set to the 24th at 1 PM PST.

Head to Head, 10 by 10 but can be tweaked if necessary.
2003 Hybrid World Champion (115-47 reg season, 11-4 playoffs)

TBL: Anaheim Angels 2006-present (238-244 regular season, 1 division title)
MSL: St Louis Cardinals 2013-present (2734-2936 regular season, 5 division titles, 2 championships)
    TSSL: Seattle Mariners 2006-2029, Pittsburgh Pirates 2030-present (209-277, 5 division titles w/SEA, 1 championship w/SEA)
