He's really found his groove since the All-Star break. I could easily see Beane trading All-Star closer Andrew Bailey for a bat at some point and let H-Rod close. He's got a 12:1 K:BB ratio in his last 9 outings. 89/90 MPH change-up, slider, and 100/101 MPH heat.

He's only 23 years old, too.

Just giving you fantasy nuts a heads-up for next year. He has been a closer in the minors. He might be worth a late pick because you never know...Bailey could be traded.

You never know how these so-called future closers will pan out. Some of the most dominant closers ever didn't break the major leagues as a notable relief prospect. You should know because Dennis Eckersley was one of them. Plus, Mariano Rivera and Trevor Hoffman.

I watched Simon over in Baltimore throw the Yankees some 98 mph heat and then some balls that just dropped off the plate and I thought 'This guy is going places!' He did. He went to the DL. But if he gets himself back, look out.

Chris Sale, of the White Sox, could be another kid to watch for. He's got really good stuff.
