Last week, I finally cut ties with JD Drew. It's a deep league so really, it was flip a coin and pick something out of the barrel.

I chose Josh Willingham. I think it was because I was astounded that he's hitting .290. Wasn't that long ago he was hitting, wait for it, .190. I'm confused, a player on the Natinals can raise his average that much? Dang.

Okay, flash forward to today. I decided to bench Garrett Jones for.. yes, Josh Willingham. Jones was facing the giants pitching, which means bad stuff for the pirates likely. Willingham was facing someone other than Gallardo, I figured I'd play the match ups.

HOLY SHIT! Winner.

Two grand slams later, from.. a natinal.

Willingham has been a top 10 fantasy OF over the last month or so, it's not like he was off the radar until last night or anything.

Still don't have room to pick him up in any leagues, because my backup outfielders tend to be Vernon Wells or Hunter Pence.
