redsrbetter's fantasy team (I went young)

Man, this was an auto draft from a top 500 list that we organize ourselves. This isn't a keeper league. Just look at this young team I got.

    C Russell Martin
    1B Mark Teixeira
    2B Placido Polanco
    3B Evan Longoria
    SS Jose Reyes
    2B/SS Stephen Drew
    1B/3B Brandon Wood
    OF Josh Hamilton
    OF Delmon Young
    OF Adam Dunn
    OF Jacoby Ellsbury
    OF Ken Griffey Jr.
    UTIL Justin Upton
    Bench Jay Bruce
    Bench Melky Cabrera
    Bench Colby Rasmus

    P Francisco Liriano
    P Johnny Cueto
    P Edinson Volquez
    P Chad Billingsley
    P Matt Garza
    P Clay Buchholz
    P Clayton Kershaw
    P Nick Adenhart
    P Rich Harden

Lots of outfielders and even more youngsters. Yay!

Since it's not a keeper league, I'm concerned about a lot of the youth. How many teams?
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

Yeah, only the good ones. Ha! Liriano may hurt me though. We will be finding out soon if he is going to AAA.

10 teams. Ouch! I overrated the young guys in expectation that many would do the same.

I don't know how much of an impact Wood or Kershaw will make, so I'd be concerned there

I like my lineup a bit though:

Teixeira and Polanco will bring me batting average.
Teixeira and Dunn and possibly Hamilton will bring HRs (maybe Young too)
Reyes and Ellsbury will bring stolen bases.
Then there are the young guys that could contribute by mid season.

I really like your team. You have a good balance of hitting and pitching. The only thing you don't have is a closer. Does your league count for saves?

Yeah it does, and there aren't any good closers at all on free agency. Percival and Gagne are the best two. UGH!

Your original team would have been great in a keeper league.
