Go pick up Jason Frasor. Ryan has to go see the infamous Dr. James Andrews with an apparent elbow injury, never a good thing for pitchers.

I figured something was up, 2 blown saves in the 1st two weeks, in ST he told everyone he was fine with a week left, not much time to work out either.

And I'm scared about Jason Frasor being the closer while Ryan is healing.

Nothing to worry about, Frasor can get the job done. Ryan was sucking anyways.

Why is it that players who are sucking almost always end up on the DL soon? I thought that an injury was such a cop-out for Hideo Nomo not pitching well anymore a few years back.

Frasor didn't even get the chance to get the save today, Shawn Marcum got the save earlier today.

This sucks for BJ and the Jays. It makes me happy that an AL East foe loses an elite pitcher like Ryan for any amount of time, but I'm a huge fan of his from his Baltimore days and I hope it isn't too serious.
