It explains that it's not all the recievers fault.

if they cant get open, they cant get open. theres no stat to disguise that. the guy has plenty of flaws, but they all do. of course, hes now a bill, so i hope hes the biggest bust in nfl history and never actually gets on the field.

Same as me hoping Darnold and Allen have a fight to the death for the bust of the century award... for the Dolphins good.

Nothing in a team sport is all any one person's fault (or in this case one position's fault)

But Hammer is trying to tell you that there's more to the WR's side of the responsibility than whether or not they drop the pass.

Everything from what I've seen will show Josh Allen will be a bust, and we will come back to this post a few years from now and laugh at the Bills.

I haven't seen Wyoming or Josh Allen enough to have a valid opinion on whether or not your overall conclusion here is correct.

I'm simply saying that contrary to the argument you've been using to back up your claim there's more to the WR's side of the responsibility than whether or not they drop the pass.

The QB has little to no control over whether or not they get open in the first place.

    Question:

Isn't that future Walmart employee WR being covered by a future Walmart employee CB?

sure. but if you cant create separation, you still cant create separation. slow white guys are still slow white guys at the end of the day, whichever side of the ball theyre on.

    Irrelevant to the argument.

Both WR and CB being future Wal-Mart employees doesn't give Josh Allen any more control over whether or not the WR gets open than he'd have if the CB were a future NFL hall of famer.

    Re: 2018 NFL Draft

Everything shows that he'll be a bust. When you compare him to the other members of the top 6 he's always the worst QB of the group.

I get that I'm too much into the stats here, but it's not just that. Every pass I've ever seen from this guy the WR has to do the work to try and catch it, because the passes are at least 10 yards over their heads.

Plus the fact that he's not the choir boy I thought he was per his tweets.

    Re: 2018 NFL Draft

If everything shows that he'll be a bust then there's either a bunch of ignoramuses working for NFL teams and sports sites/stations or not quite everything shows that and you're just making an educated guess based on his weaknesses.

    My guess is the latter.

you dont like the guy, i get it, i dont even wanna change your opinion. i just want you to watch the throw at the :33 mark, and ponder how many quarterbacks that are in the nfl right now, that have the ability to make that throw. hes got a lot to work on, no doubt... but good god, im willing to let this kid sit for a year and work on trying to understand complex defenses.
