williamson fits the 3-4 well. im good with all of those signings on the surface. im not even mad at crowell, i assume we're not paying him much, and he does have some ivory to his game, who i loved. my main concern is whether theyre gonna try to push to the end of this rebuild prematurely, and try to compete next year with all these signings, and pass on a potential franchise qb. i still wanna add rosen, darnold or allen, especially now without the pressure of them having to step in and be the man immediately. but with all this action, im thinking they may be moving away from a qb to get somebody who can contribute now.
So the Rams are going full nerd by letting Trumaine Johnson walk and replacing him with the aggregate of Peters, Talib, and Shields. Either they're going to end up looking smart, or Shields and Talib prove to be washed up and Peters a head case. But IMO the worst case scenario is still better saddling your cap with a Josh Norman contract.
Colts coming in like a wrecking ball. Nice trade
i used an incredible amount of verbage about this trade all over the place already today. i will simply state... yes im aware we probably gave up too much, i also believe that had we waited, the opportunity would have passed us by. i absolutely love the fact that the jets are putting themselves in a position to get one of the 3 big quarterbacks in this draft. thumbs up to the jets in my opinion, and of course the colts did well here, theyre still probably in a position to get chubb at 6 and they pick up 3 2nd rounders.
There's a third good quarterback in the draft?
allen, rosen and darnold on my board, are all top 10 talents. but i do enjoy that everyone on the planet seems to be so divided on all 5 of alleged 1st round qbs. and i mean that sincerely, i dont think i see any one of these quarterbacks universally loved, or universally hated. they all seem to be kinda 50-50, and no one is 100% sure what youre getting out of any of them.
Here are 2 similar trade ups. If anything the Jets weren't as robbed as the sports world is making it out to be.
What the Rams traded for Goff in 2016:
2016 Round 1 pick (No. 15)
2016 Round 2 pick (No. 43)
2016 Round 2 pick (No. 45)
2016 Round 3 pick (No. 76
2017 Round 1 pick (No. 5)
2017 Round 3 pick (No. 100)https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d4cdd262f2.jpg

God still hates the Chargers. Jason Verrett torn Achilles.
LOL at all the moves the Raiders made today. But at least you still have Gruden, lol.
Found this take, and couldn't agree more.

Trading a dude like Mack for draft picks is criminal. you invest that much into a guy just to see him leave for “potential” value? quality over quantity.
Chargers go three and out on first possession, allow a TD on ensuing punt. Lol, same old Chargers.
