I don't know. Philly isn't at New England's level when it comes to nationwide hatred from fanbases outside their division but that sentiment is still there. I've seen countless memes saying their fans are "the one force that can make people root for New England" and others saying what you just did about a meteor.

All I'm saying is that if I'm in charge of fixing the game and handpicking the SB opponents and my end goal is to pick a team to face New England so that everyone can watch and hope New England loses the only opponent I'd pick Philly over would be Dallas.

The whole New England/Pittsburgh has been done about 10 games too much. Everyone knows the outcome. The New England/Jacksonville provided something different.

The powerhouse hall of fame coach, and quarterback against the surprising best defense in football.

I was definitely more intrigued by the matchup we got.

But you started this entire argument off stating that everyone knows the outcomes of these games.

And that argument is incorrect anyway. The NFL loves endless rematches between two powerhouse franchises in the playoffs. Look at how much they slobbered over every Patriots/Colts playoff game and then Broncos/Patriots after Manning went there.

And Pittsburgh is every bit the NFL darling New England is. If this whole thing was fixed I guaran-damn-tee the AFCC game would have been Pittsburgh/New England.

I don't think it's that far off to think these games are rigged. The NBA was rigged in the past to get the Lakers to beat a team in Sacramento that was clearly better.

I don't think it's that far off to think the NFL would ever be willing to rig the games but I'm arguing that the end results we've seen prove that it's either not rigged or that they've failed at trying to rig it.

Well like I said. I was more interested in the Jaguars, and their top notch defense rather than the 1,753rd matchup between the Patriots, and Steelers.

Maybe I wasn't the only one.

But now you're contradicting yourself because earlier you told me nobody wanted to watch the Jaguars and that's why they're not in the Super Bowl.

Fans would love to see a different matchup. No fan wants to see the same game every year. I would've been thrilled with the Jaguars/Titans, but Roger Goodell and his league would never allow such a boring game in the Afc championship.

Don't you think it would be wonderful to see the Warriors/Cavaliers not make the finals, but lets be honest. Even with the Cavs sucking ass. That will most definitely be the matchup.

But in regards to the question of whether or not they're rigging the outcomes the question you should be asking isn't "what do you and I want to see?" it's "what does the NFL think you and I want to see?".

And earlier you told me they don't want the Jaguars in the Super Bowl because they don't think anyone wants to see them in the Super Bowl but now you're telling me they wanted them in the AFC Championship Game because everyone wants to watch the Jaguars.

To answer your question, no I don't want to see a rematch. I just don't want to see the Patriots against anybody. I said as much on facebook. But the NFL? They love the rematches. They loved it every time the Patriots and Colts squared off. They loved all of the 49ers-Cowboys games back in the day. They'd have "epic" rematches every year in the playoffs if they could.

No way that TD call stands if it's rigged in New England's favor

There's enough wiggle room with the ball moving a little while his left foot steps out on the 3rd step that I could sell it if my end goal is to favor the Patriots and not just make the right call.
