    Los Angeles Super Chargers

This is Montreal Expos level of sadness if you think about what could have been if Ryan Leaf, Eli Manning's draft holdout, Drew Brees' torn labrum, Marty's firing, etc. had turned out differently.

Leaf wouldn't have been much different, Indy already took Peyton.

Eli wouldn't have done much better in SD

While I didn't agree with the Marty firing his playoff record speaks for itself in this hypothetical.

While I don't blame them for the Brees decision given the circumstances that is one that possibly could have made the difference.

That logo is as stupid as the one it's ripping off.

So, I'm afraid that's a "no" to your question.

I see people are having a field day with the logo.

    @soccercanales
Why not the downward first stroke of the "A" as a lightning bolt? Lightning doesn't usually strike horizontally. Ugh.

I meant rebrand in the sense of changing their nickname entirely, at which point it'd feel like I'm picking a new team anyway.

That being said, I'm kind of on the fence regardless. I'm not sure if I'm too keen on having to find a new tailgate group now that the vast majority of my usual group hates the team now, especially when I have a crowd of friends that roots for a different team that'd likely be the front-runners in the event I picked a new one.

Dan Marino being one of my two all time favorite non-Chargers notwithstanding, it's not them.

I'll quit beating around the bush, though. It's Cincinnati.

It's Dallas with those Arkansas ties. It's just natural.

Honestly, just do it and go with the Browns. (Pick Dallas)

That is what I meant when I posted the logo. Obviously the lightning bolt signified that they didn't change the team nickname.

I read that they wouldn't have the time necessary to do it and could still rebrand next year.

The shitty logo looking like it was hastily thrown together with no thought seems to support that.

Got to have some powder blue. Got to have gold. Got to have Bolt if going to be the Chargers still.
