I'm not going say anything about Cleveland's pick because I don't know much about him but grading their pick based on the number of holes they still have after that pick isn't very fair. You can point out that they've left a myriad of other holes after their pick no matter who they took.

I'm a firm believer of taking BPA, with minimal exceptions. The Chargers shouldn't draft a QB, for instance, and I agree that the Cowboys didn't need Elliot. I guess you can say I believe in BPA but not if it means drafting too much in excess?

At any rate, of course you need linemen to protect your QB or else you can't do much, but if you nevertheless also need a WR or a QB or a CB or someone else then why pass on a better player just because they don't play the line?

Yea and every team has their list of players obviously and they all different. Elliot might have been their BPA. I always wonder what all the teams have as their "board". Lol like the 49ers trading up into 1st to nab that Guard... Some of the analysts were saying he was in the 60's on their board. So I'm guessing that means he was up pretty high on 49ers board of they decided they needed to jump back up into 1st to get him.

The only thing I can think of is its bartering chip and he can sit for a couple years while Carr/McGloin are set as 1/2. Or they just wanted to screw with KC or someone else still needing a QB.

So this video was going around on Facebook after round 1 with the Browns complaining about their 1st pick, mainly screaming "He's not even 6 foot tall, we don't have any 6 foot receivers!"


And now they've drafted 4 6" receivers in their last 5 picks.

I think the Eagles may have done the same thing to Dallas by giving up so much for Wentz.

McGloin is also an unrestricted free agent after this year. This gives the Raiders a cheap backup if McGloin goes somewhere else.

Pretty happy with the Titans draft overall. It's going to be interesting see how having Henry in the backfield will shake out. That pick was a little surprising but hopefully it works out.
