I'm okay with Del Rio if he pulls top assistants. I wanted Bowles. Actually wouldn't have minded Pep, might be one of those guys who is better suited as a HC than an OC.

I love Smith as a DC, Trestman, he's the best of a bad bunch. Chudz is on the same level to me. Son of Shanahan may be okay, but, meh.

There's a lot of great DC candidates out there. Son of Bum, Fangio, someone else who doesn't come to mind.

I was thinking Offspring of the River to which would fit the Raider montiff.

    Re: Jack Del Rio

Del Rio is gonna be okay. The Raiders needed a vet, not some flashy up and comer. I think the last few choices kinda proved that. Hell, Del Rio is only the 3rd Raider head coach to have previous NFL head coaching experience on his resume (4th if you count Art Shell part 2). If nothing else he can work a leather jacket or suit on the sidelines...

When I look at Bowloles I see the defensive version of HueJax. Great coordinator/not so much HC. Can't wait for them to trade up for Winston. NY mediots will eat them alive.

Wasn't Gase supposed to be a hot commodity. He's barely getting sniffs as an OC. And Mach mentioned Pep. Can he bring Luck with him?

I'm not hot at all on the Musgrave signing. I was inclined to favor Trestman even though he gives off a deviate perv sort of look.

Hearing that Smith for DC is not happening. In fact I think Smith is taking some time off. Same with Schwartz.

    Mel Tucker anyone?

Dennis Allen was not flashy or an up and comer.

He was in the running for the Rams head coach position. They went with Fisher instead. Wise decision...
