So the Bills are basically screwed unless they grab an OC to go with him. Maybe the Treastman rumors are true.

    Ooof...

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Bills are expected to hire in-limbo 49ers OC Greg Roman as offensive coordinator.
    Nice work, Buffalol.

Bills are going to destroy the Jets for the next 5 seasons. As for the Jets I fully expect them to hire Dan Quinn after the Seahawks win the Super Bowl.

I'm sure he has the option to leave.

Hey Greg Roman was a defensive assistant for the Carolina Panthers during the 1996 season, he knows a little something about defense.

God damn the Bills are dumb. They have a great D, and a shit O largely, and they go and hire a guy on D who runs a different system who can't develop an O to save their lives. Good job you morons.

Re: Bills to hire Rex Ryan

It's a good hire, if they give the offensive coordinator autonomy on his side of the ball. If Doug Whaley demands EJ Manuel be the end all be all at QB, then that will sink the ship right there. They'll need to draft a QB in the 2nd or 3rd round and develop him. Pettine ran the 3-4 the year before and it worked just as well, I'm sure switching back shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Now the fact that Kyle Orton is gone is bad for the team. Three guys I'd take a one year flier on; Jake Locker, Brian Hoyer or Jason Campbell. Then I'd look in the draft for a project like Bryce Petty or Bo Wallace. I'd take a year for the changeover and worry more about 2017 and beyond and you can determine where the Patriots are and if Miami has gotten over that hump of mediocrity.
