Well, it makes sense if the HC is going to have a lot of or all of the GM control, but that doesn't appear to be the route the Jets are going.

Buffalo can have Frank Reich for all I care. Dude was awful. I couldn't have grown more tired of the fucking draw plays he called 30 times a game.

    Re: NFL's Black Monday 2014

Doug Marrone has received recommendations from former Jets Curtis Martin and Kevin Mawae.

The Buffalo Bills are all in looking for a coach with a background on the offense side of the ball, rumours indicate they want to interview Pep Hamilton, Pat Shurmur, Greg Roman and Kyle Shanahan after a round of interviews with Adam Gase, Darrel Bevell and Frank Reich. There are plans to draft a QB early and they want to develop Sammy Watkins further.

Oakland's Head Coaching search is heating up, and rumblings indicate they could be the first to hire their coach. Word is Pep Hamilton and Jack Del Rio are at the top of Mark Davis' list, but contradicting reports say Mike Shanahan is the big name coach that Davis wants to lead the Raiders. Yes all his bad feelings have been buried with Al.

Also reported today that the Bills may be interested in a Shanahan GM-Shanahan HC combo. I'll leave it to you to figure out which one would get which role.

    He's also a rookie OC.

I have a little patience with people on their 1st year on the job.

First year on the job shouldn't matter to me. If you're a talented coordinator. You should have a feel of how to game plan and how to call plays.

Lake Dawson is being interviewed by the Bears, but Chicago is expected to announce Chris Ballard as General Manager by the end of the week.

Being an offensive coordinator is not an innate talent people are born with. Frank Reich has never held that position at any level in his life until this year. There's going to be growing pains.

The fact that he's in line for 2 head coach interviews already even despite some of his playcalling hiccups should say something.

Please God No! I'd rather see the apocolypse occur and bring Marty Schottenheimer in as Head Coach. This is going to be as bad as the Art Shell Debacle! Rat Face hasn't won jack since Elway retired and seriously damaged 2 young qbs already, we don't need him getting to Derek Carr!

I may be out if we hire Shanahan. That's just so many levels of wrong.
