No it's not. The referee's are not supposed to judge intent. His helmet hit Green's and Green is paying for it right now.

Of course the announcers are trying their best to spin it otherwise.

It wasn't your typical helmet to helmet hit though. The angle looked more like a shoulder hit than anything else.

I love it when they throw an INT with nobody but the other team in the area.

It doesn't matter. His helmet hit Green's. That's case closed.

Even the Patriot homer in the announcer booth that spent 5 minutes trying to spin it concluded that it was the right call after all of the knob slobbering.

barring keenan allen suddenly becoming calvin johnson, ill be eliminated in two leagues, i should advance in 3 leagues [including to the finals in my family league], and then bs is what it is.

And I do agree that Browner did the best he could do to get his head out of the way, but like I said the refs aren't supposed to judge intent.

It sucks for him from a circumstantial perspective but it was still the correct call.

Looking back at that replay it looks like the helmets didn't even hit at all.

yea, i had only woke up and didnt watch it too intently... but on the two views i saw, i didnt even see the helmets hitting. but since leo was so adamant it was the right call, i didnt jump into the argument with what limited i saw.

You must have been watching a different replay than me, or you're letting your original conclusion cloud your vision.

The helmets clearly hit. Maybe not as hard as it looked in real time but they still clearly hit.
