Theres reasons why some guys are top 10 and other arent. You want to play Bellicheat ball and look at how its worked for him in the draft.

Conversely look at SEA, GB, SF, BLT. Empirical studies bear it out. NE's still churning out pretty decent teams by and large too.

If not for the NFL and media propping them up the last decade (along with the dumpster fires that make up the AFC Least), he's probably out of the league long before now. we need quality and NORMALLY that quality is better found early. Carr has impressed me thus far with crap at WR. Right now Cooper and White are by far the top 2 WR in the draft next year.

We need quality and quantity. Plenty of good players have been found in the later portions of round 1. It's not completely linear. We could easily wind up with multiple 1st round picks, which are far more useful than a single top pick.

If 1 is available you don't get fancy, you take them (just like Reggie did with Mack last year).
