I didn't follow college sports at all back then so I'll admit to speaking from ignorance. I just read that he had a major health issue that basically killed whatever draft stock he may have had.

With the 21st Overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, the Cincinnati Bengals select
    CEDRIC REED, DE, Texas

The Cincinnati Bengals have a very talented roster, but once again find themselves bounced out early in the playoffs. Something has to change if they are going to get to the next level, no they won't be changing quarterbacks although there are a number left who could be worth drafting here. Instead the Bengals add to their defense and help Texas break their drought.

Cedric Reed becomes the first Texas player to be drafted after last years drought i the draft. Reed has good size and strong, he uses his hands well, though he isn't an aggressive pass rusher and can stay back and stack up against the run. Don't be mistaken he has the ability to get in the backfield, he also made a good tandem with former Longhorn Jackson Jeffcoat. Makes a tough Bengals defense that much tougher.

With the 22nd Overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles select
    CAMERON ERVING, OT, Florida State

The Eagles high flying offense keeps afloat but they've got some aging veterans on the line and have already tabbed Lane Johnson as Jason Peters eventually replacement, but that doesn't stop them from taking one of the best tackles in the draft to take over the right side, or maybe inside at guard for Todd Heremans.

Cameron Erving has good size and pulls smoothly, showing some good lateral quickness play guard at the next level. He has good knee bend and plays with good leverage. Erving is much better in the run game right now, but has a high ceiling and can develop his pass protection skills.

Dane Brugler's current 2015 NFL Mock

    9. Tennessee Titans -- QB Connor Cook, Michigan State
Unless Jake Locker takes a big step forward in his development in 2014, there is a chance this season is his final one in Tennessee. An offensive-minded head coach, Ken Whisenhunt likely wants a quarterback who can push the ball downfield and command the huddle and Cook checks those boxes and could be a surprise high pick.

*gives zero shits about Dane Brugler*

The draftnik community has been all over Cook since around the time you started this, though. I still don't see it.

(I still think Mettenberger is a better pro prospect than Cook, too.)

I have him as a fringe first, but to have him go top ten is more ridiculous then these early outlooks I do.

Miller said he's staying (as of this week), though I'm guessing he'll recant if Barrett/Jones play well this season.

Yeah, it was a decent effort. Calhoun not declaring hurt it a bit, but most of the top guys are there.

Tough predicting from a year ago, but looks like the TB and Winston matchup will be good.
