Houston shall select DE Jadeveon Clowney, South Carolina.

I feel that the best player in the draft should be pick one, and no matter how much Houston or myself likes Khalil Mack, Clowney is still a level above. The Houston pass rush with Watt and Clowney just made them a potential playoff team, if they can find a second round QB worth a shit.

St Louis select WR Sammy Watkins, Clemson

A lot of experts have the Rams debating between Greg Robinson and Watkins, but they've invested $34 Million in Jake Long with $ 4 Million guaranteed this upcoming season and for some reason Fisher led teams have been adversed to offensive lineman being taken. On the other hand the Rams have invested quite a few picks on receivers but only Brian Quick really has the size that Watkins does. Watkins is a clear number one that Fisher and gang need, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Khalil Mack go here.

Jacksonville selects LB Khalil Mack, Buffalo

After missing on Clowney, who they assuredly hoped would fall, the Jags get my #2 player in the draft. Quotes have been flying around from scouts and GMs alike that Mack has some of the best game tape they've ever seen. I've seen enough personally, that I wouldn't be shocked if he went #1 overall. Quarterback can wait until Round 2 here, as well.

Cleveland selects QB Johnny Manziel, Texas A&M

The Browns need to do something to inject some excitement back into their franchise after all the front office shakeups. I originally had Mike Evans off the board here, but since the Browns have their pick of the litter they look to add the biggest name they can, and one that will have teams talking about Cleveland again. Whether it's the right choice or not Manziel is going to bring some intrigue and excitement.

Oakland selects WR Mike Evans, Texas A&M

I had originally planned to go with Greg Robinson here, but I'm trying to be realistic. I think Evans fits better than Robinson(Howard and Penn signings hurt the realism of the pick), and is a tier above(along with Watkins) the other WRs in this draft. This is prime trade down spot, though, if the board goes the way it did here.

Atlanta selects OT Greg Robinson, Auburn

Many would predict Greg Robinson would already be off the board here or that Atlanta has moved up to try and nab either Clowney or Mack. Instead Atlanta gets to address another issue on the team and that's the offensive line. Sam Baker has been bad when injured and serviceable to average when healthy. It's time they get a true franchise tackle (I know some hate that word), but he's athletic and has great size. Matt Ryan is thankful for the fall down the draft here.

Tampa Bay selects OT Jake Matthews, Texas A&M

With the top tier WRs off the board, Tampa is forced to go BPA with Jake Matthews. With Anthony Collins and Demar Dotson entrenched at the tackle spots, Matthews lines up at guard right away to give Tampa one of the best lines in the league to protect QB Josh McCown and a likely rookie later. Poor Mike Glennon can't catch a break.

Minnesota select QB Teddy Bridgewater, Louisville

How did a consensus number one pick drop so far? A terrible pro day shouldn't take away from his body of work. Teddy Bridgewater isn't the hottest name right now, but Blake Bortles fever hasn't reached Rick Spielman. After missing on Christian Ponder the Vikings nab a pro ready quarterback who'll help give fans of Minnesota some hope they've found their future.

Buffalo selects OT Taylor Lewan, Michigan

After a stunning(and quite frankly, bad) decision by Minnesota at #8, we get back to sanity as the Bills take the BPA to take over at RT. Cordy Glenn has turned into a steal on the left side, and finishing the blocking for Buffalo is priority #1. Lewan's legal trouble may drop him slightly in the real draft, but there's no mistaking his talent. Weapons will be there to help EJ Manuel in the later rounds.

Detroit selects CB Justin Gilbert, Oklahoma State

The Lions have had a consistent problem with their defensive backs and managed to find a stop gap solution in Mathis who performed admirably last season. However they still need to add more talent and look to Justin Gilbert who is near the top, in terms of athleticism in the draft. His 4.37 40 time shows that he'll be able to keep up with the fastest receivers in the league and will help in zone and off-man coverage. There are rumors of Suh being traded, which would change this pick to Aaron Donald.

Tennessee selects QB Derek Carr, Fresno State

Reports are out that Tennessee is smitten with Carr, and while it's misinformation season, it definitely makes sense. I know Bortles is still on the board, but Carr's skill set is intriguing enough to mock him here. Their other big need is pass rusher, and I'm not high enough on Anthony Barr to buy in on him going 11. This is another trade down spot...but I think there's a good chance Carr actually goes to Tennessee to replace contract year QB Jake Locker.

New York Giants select LB Anthony Barr, UCLA

The Giants and defensive lineman are a natural pick in the first round, but they need some help in their linebacking unit. One of the best just happens to fall into their lap and can start for them at outside from day one and offers them more versatility then they've had in a while. I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to add the drafts best safety either.

St. Louis selects S HaHa Clinton Dix, Alabama

The second biggest shoe-in of the draft. (The first didn't happen, but whatever) The Alabama product fits a large need, plus will help Janoris Jenkins and Trumaine McBride take the next steps in their careers, as well.
