Chicago selects DT Aaron Donald, Pittsburgh

Chi-Town lost Henry Melton over the offseason, but still have a big bodied veteran in Jay Ratiliff but need more talent up front. The Bears look to the Pittsburgh product who is climbing up draft boards and comes off the snap faster than any tackle in the draft, Donald will be a great replacement for Henry Melton.

Pittsburgh selects CB Darqueze Dennard, Michigan State

I think he holds a little bit too much to be a Superstar, but Dennard going to a Dick Lebeau defense is a match made in heaven. Ike Taylor is aging, William Gay decent, but getting some depth at the position should be the #1 need. I considered another guy here, but the need and fit outweighed a luxury guy.

Dallas selects DT Timmy Jernigan, Florida State

A fluid athlete Jernigan helps build depth in the Cowboys defensive tackle rotation. To make a Tampa 2 work they need more athletic defensive lineman and adding Henry Melton has helped so far, but Nick Hayden is pencilled in as the other starter and they just won't do. Jernigan is a fluid athlete, he was a dominate player on the National Champions defense even after the loss of key players to last years draft.

Baltimore selects TE Eric Ebron, North Carolina

Sure, Dennis Pitta and Owen Daniels are on the roster, but getting this type of talent to fall into your lap doesn't happen often. A dynamic receiving option that can help out in the slot, as well, is too much to pass up to give to their Elite QB.

New York Jets select CB Kyle Fuller, Virginia Tech

The Jets just watched their target stolen from under their noses, they could still look to add an offensive weapon outside like Beckham Jr. but they let Antonio Cromartie leave and only managed to replace him with Dmitri Patterson, so for a second year in a row add a corner in the first round. Kyle Fuller has fluid hips and isn't afraid to help out in the run game and plays heavier than he actually is. He fits in as a physical presence in the defensive backfield of Rex Ryan's defense and will endear himself to the Jets faithful.

We talked about doing one with a few more people in the other thread...

Miami selects OT Zack Martin, Notre Dame

Protecting Ryan Tannehill has to be priority #1. Martin can play tackle or guard, and starts to sure up the offensive line that is in need of major help.

Arizona selects LB Ryan Shazier, Ohio State

Arizona needs some youth at the outside linebacker spot and Ryan Shazier adds an player with great acceleration and closing burst to get to his man. Some might question his size but his production speaks volumes of his ability and tackling ability. He has some of the best tackling technique I've seen on tape in a while.

Green Bay selects S Calvin Pryor, Louisville

I'm tempted to give them somebody I really don't like(Koundjio, maybe?), but where's the realism in that? They have a need at FS, and Pryor may the best one in this draft when all is said and done. I'm tempted to give them a falling WR, but the position is just so deep, they can get one in Round 2 or 3.

Philadelphia selects WR Odell Beckham Jr

The Eagles will looking to add a receiver after how their offseason has worked out thus far. Beckham Jr. is surprisingly here for the Eagles to snag and offers a speedy receiver that fits Chip Kelly's offense. He can get up to top speed quickly and has a good combination of timing, hands and route running. He can step in and really help Kelly's offense explode.

Kansas City selects WR Brandin Cooks, Oregon State

Perfect fit for the WR corps with Alex Smith at QB: A guy that can catch a 5 yard slant and take it to the house. There's some other needs for a team that doesn't have a second round pick, but upgrading the guys catching passes has to be priority #1.

Cincinnati selects DE Kony Ealy, Missouri

The Bengals lost Michael Johnson and elect to add a defensive end who's still developing his pass rushing ability but has a high upside. Ealy ran a 4.90 and is quick off the initial burst he has the ability to strip the ball and can get his hands in the passing lane and might surprise some of the less mobile QBs in the league.

San Diego selects CB Bradley Roby, Ohio State

Before his arrest last weekend, Roby was passing Dennard on some teams boards, so he becomes quite the steal here. Although he can get a little lazy a times, he's a quality corner with great athletic ability that will certainly sure up San Diego's secondary.
