    he probably wouldnt... the league itself is filled with plenty of mediocre quarterbacks. hes no better/worse than guys like tarvaris jackson, and hes still out there bumbling around. guys who have never thrown a meaningful pass, get money thrown at them, because of the lack of better options... matt flynn this year, charlie whitehurst recently, even back to matt hasselbeck.

    the guy is just careless as shit with the ball... his arm is decent enough for a starting qb. hes bottom 16 of the league, absolutely, but hes better than 6-9 other starting qbs. its just the new york equation that gets him more attention. (for the sake of that argument... id rather sanchez than fitzpatrick, cassel, mccoy, moore, minnesotas situation, arizonas situation, jacksonvilles situation, seattles situation [for now] and washingtons situation [for now]... and josh freeman has a short leash)

    Does it matter? Brad Johnson's team beat Donovan McNabb and Rich Gannon

    Dilfer's team beat Steve McNair and Rich Gannon to get there.

    Tim Tebow just beat Ben Roethlisberger in the playoffs.
