If Norv is such a quarterback guru, how is it that Alex Smith is doing way better under Jim Harbaugh than he did under Norv's tutelage, and is having a better year than Philip Rivers?

I think DHB is injured but not severe enough to keep him off the field completely (he saw 24 snaps last week i think). Plus Palmer has a history with a couple of the current WRs.

I'm not buying the injury rumor considering he's playing, hasn't been on the injury report and even had a bye week in between the past two games. Hayward-Bey must have pissed someone off for not being targeted in two games.

because Rivers last four years under Norv are meaningless.

The theory is that he has fallen out of favor with Coach Jackson, and was really only receiving playing time this year due to Al Davis. Now that a little time has settled since his death, no one cares for the guy.

Somewhat of a stretch but if he's not hurt, how'd he go from averaging around 80 yards a game to zero catches a game? Jacoby Ford has even been hurt and got hurt again.

I think Charger fans should be more concerned about the defense. Rivers is just pressing, and he never has the same set of weapons each week cause everyone is always hurt, it's always a revolving door. And now their o-line is officially as shitty or shittier than Pittsburgh's. I don't like the guy but it's clearly a fluke.

My only guess is that he fucked Carson Palmer's wife at some point

If the Niners win against the Cardinals and the Hawks lose against the Rams....

Niners clinches at least a tie in the NFC Worst.

I believe the AFC west has reclaimed the worst moniker. The 49ers are actually pretty good this year.

The AFC South is the worst if you ask me

Texans will be using Hollywood Matt for the rest of the season and that division has two of the worst teams in the league.

I hope Tim Teblow gets the shit knocked out of him tonight. Not because I dislike him, just so ESPN can finally have a legitimate reason to talk about him. Could you imagine any other channel talking about something so mediocre? The ratings would be worse than C-SPAN!

I don't think Sanchez won last week.
