They played out that scenario on Mike and Mike this morning. I can't remember who would be the Big East champion, but neither team would make the BCS championship game. They would play in whatever BCS bowl has the Big East champion.

I know they wouldnt. On ESPN radio they did a breakdown of what WVU would need to have happen if they wanted to play in the title game and it has so little odds of happening that the odds are better to win the lottery.

Let's just face it, even if Rutgers wins out, the Big East is going to get screwed out of a shot at the title. Even the BCS supporters won't be able to explain away raping an undefeated Rutgers out of the championship game.

BTW, even if Rutgers DID play in the BCS championship game, they would get rolled up by either OSU or Michigan.

Uh, no, but do people forget that Boise State plays in a garbage non-BCS conference and aren't even in the top 10 of the BCS standings? Its one thing when its a Big East school, but the WAC isn't going to get a team into the championship game.

Wow...I was literally jumping in my house when Rutgers finished off the Cardinals. HUGE win for the Scarlet Knights. If they run the table, the BCS should go into full scale turmoil for not letting Rutgers into the National Title game. What the hell does RU have to do to get respect, jump through a flaming hoop with huge spikes on it?

Maybe if teams took a chance and played Boise State. Maybe just maybe there would be more respect.

Oregon St beat USC. Yet Boise St beat them 42-14 this season. Hawaii took Alabama to the limit in their house and they beat them too.

Oregon State BARELY beat USC. They didn't beat USC in L.A. though. Last I checked, Oregon State isn't ranked, so Boise beating them isn't exactly like they beat the #1 team in the country.
