Really, despite the loss. I like what I saw out of some players. Ludwick and Inge had very nice games hitting wise. Zumaya wasn't horrible, but he wasn't great. Definitely shows he'll be in the minors this season with a late season callup possible. While Colby Lewis did very nice in relief only giving up one hit in 2 innings. Well, Ledezma, definitely shows he's the same ole Ledezma. Hopefully he picks it up and turns himself into a decent #5 rotation guy, or atleast a decent relief pitcher. Giving up that many hits and runs in 2 innings, just doesn't look bright.

They also faced the Italian National Team (WBC Exhibition) and won 6-5. Nice to see Cameron Maybin get some ST time so soon, he went 1-3 with a single. Still has quite a ways to go, but he has some serious potential.

Also, Leyland's swooning over Granderson, better hope he gets the CF job.

Then out of fairness to the others you will be Slagathor.

Yah saw that. That's a great win. Maybin is a 5 tool spec. I can't wait to see him in the future for the Tigers. I hope he developes his talent all the way and becomes an all star for the Tigers.

As for Granderson, if he does gets it, I hope he shows a lil more consistency this season. I would've loved to see Logan start off as the CF in the beginning of the season, and if Logan wasn't doing well, then put in Granderson.
