Well, I got some free time, so anybody who wants to can join in and hear play by play of the Det/Bos game by me.

Let's get it rollin.

Well, it's first inning, 1 out, Renteria on 1st.

Ortiz is up to bat.

Ortiz hit one out deep in the CF, Granderson caught it.

Manny up to bat, strikes out at the first one. Nice pitch by Douglass.

Manny at 1st, Renteria at 2nd now.

Nixon up to bat.

Nixon hits it right up Shelton's path, and Shelton gets the out.

Tigers up to bat next.

Ordonez hits a slow groundball in Renterias path, and a out.

Pena hit it deep out to Nixon. Nixon caught it.

3 outs, nobody got on base. Hopefully with the way our offense is playing today, we need to step it up on defense and pitching and make sure Sox don't score.

Douglass stepped up and struck out Varitek. Very nice.

Then, Petagine hits a groundball up the middle, hits the bag, and he gets on 1st. He got luuuccckkkkyyy.

W000tt.....Mueller hit a groundball, and Tigers turn it into a double play. I told ya earlier, step up the defense and the pitching and make sure the Sox don't score and the Tigers did just that.

Inge hits a line drive out to the OF and gets on 1B. 1st hit for Tigers all game.
