Bonderman out for the rest of the season

Dude just took a comebacker off the wrist. Fell to the ground in pain.

I heard he suffered a bruised wrist and the x-rays were negative.

Seems like they're basically taking it day-day. Nothing serious, so he's not out for the rest of the season.

    Tigers | Bonderman Injury Update
    Fri, 26 Aug 2005 09:25:44 -0700

Updating previous reports, Tigers.MLB.com's Jason Beck reports Detroit Tigers SP Jeremy Bonderman (hand) underwent a second set of X-rays Thursday, Aug. 25 which confirmed that there was no fracture. Bonderman hopes to play catch Friday, Aug. 26 assuming the swelling goes down. He also hopes to make his next scheduled start, Monday, Aug. 29 at Cleveland, though Manager Alan Trammell called the chances of that "iffy."

Any words on Bonderman's injury the last few days? Man, it is hard to lose a pitcher like him, but at least it was toward the closing of the season. If he is out for the season, lets hope he concentrates on his recovery real hard this offseason.
