Now, Carlos Guillen has joined Ordonez, Zumaya and Inge on the DL with a strained calf.

So the Tigers already needed a starting pitcher and now they need another bat... good luck getting both with their farm system (at least anything of quality that is.)

I think they'll end up hoping Porcello gains consistency, same for Scherzer. I could see them getting a veteran for the back end of the rotation, maybe take a chance like the twins did with Pavano last season, if there exists a player like that. (Indian fans just puked). Verlander, Bonderman, Galaragga, Scherzer, Porcello.. if they got Bonderman and Porcello going, it's okay enough. Andrew Oliver needs to be sent far away if he hasn't already.

Brett Myers would be a solid option, he eats innings if nothing else.
