    Lima was horrible, and Bonderman pitched well.

    Can't say I'm surprised. Tigers will be a surprise to a lot people this season to see just how good they are.

    Young played outstanding. He's always been a great hitter. I expect him to keep it up consistently throughout the season. Tigers played well today, and it was a great way to start off the season.

    Not sure what the Royals were doing. Both Jose Lima's pitches to Young were right down the middle of the plate. He cranked 'em. The third one at least had good movement on it, but it was still belt-high down the middle. Great way to start for Young.
