Rockies prospect third baseman Nolan Arenado was named the MVP of the Arizona Fall League.
Top-notch prospects like Bryce Harper and Mike Trout also participated in the Arizona Fall League, but Arenado stole the show. The 20-year-old is batting .404/.434/.658 with six homers, 33 RBI, 11 doubles and a 1.092 OPS over 114 at-bats with the Salt River Rafters. He's still likely a year or so away from the big leagues, but his stock is on the rise.
Ian Stewart just hasn't worked out for the Rockies and they have had a void at 3B the past two seasons. Arenado couldn't come sooner for the Rockies. He was ranked #80 last year by Baseball America and posted a good season at High A ball.
