Rockies released RHP Manny Corpas.
There was a time when Corpas was considered the Rockies' closer of the future, but injuries and ineffectiveness have plagued him and he underwent Tommy John surgery in September. The 27-year-old finished 2010 with a 4.62 ERA and 1.44 WHIP. He probably won't resurface until 2012.

Looks like the Rockies are going to eat over $3 million to open a spot on the 40 man roster. Corpas will be back at some point I have no doubt.

I hear the Dodgers will sign Manny Corpas and Kerry Wood so they can bring back Mannywood.
