Jimenez is still throwing 98 mph after like 125 pitches, crazy.
128 pitches. Ridiculous.
First no-hitter in Rockies history.
Now it's down to Tampa Bay, the Mets, and San Diego.
MLB.tv just froze on me with an 0-2 count on McCann.. in this ****ing situation. Un****ing believable.
Wow, MLB.tv choke job for you BC.
B/S CURSE FAIL.
I'm disappointed.
MLB.tv worked fine for me for it.
Mother****ers.
About Jimenez's performance.. insane. Struggled with control early on, walking six batters in the first five innings (I believe). Pitches only out of the stretch the rest of the game and doesn't even allow a baserunner. Can't say that I've ever seen anything like that before. Congratulations to him and the Rockies.
Of course, now the Padres game is freezing on me.
As a fantasy owner of Jimenez.:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::c lap::clap::clap::clap:
Wow. Just...wow.
Congrats to Ubaldo!
Does it say something about the times that as fantasy baseball players, we're happy to have Rockie pitchers- Jimenez and De La Rosa?
Jimenez had 5 days of rest since his last start, so I guess they felt they could give him some leeway with such a high pitch count. Very interested in seeing what he does in his next start. I'll predict that he gets shelled just because of the after-effect.
