-Byung-Hyun Kim, acquired from the Red Sox along with getting rid of Charles Johnson, is going to stay in the rotation. Somehow, according to Rotoworld, he has a 2.41 ERA in his 6 starts at Coors Field, which is pretty amazing since his ERA is over 9 away from the hitters paradise. He's holding hitters to around a .680 OPS at home and a lower slugging than OBP, yet his line away is .326-.442-.663. Yikes.
-Their pen is in disarray, as Matt Anderson has officially lost any potential he had, Mike Dejean is hurt, Acevado is still on the comeback trail.
-Chacon had a rough start against the Dodgers after coming back from injury.
Not really a pitching update, but Todd Helton is FINALLY finding his swing. He's 8-17 in July with a HR and a double through about a week. His power swing is still off, but the Rockies need Helton to produce to compete in the future, whether by getting a lot for him in trade or actually as part of the young team.
