Yanking your starter with only a runner on first after a forceout at second? Glad to have the old Jim Tracy back.

Jim Tracy pulled Jason Hammel after 87 pitches with a three to one lead on Thursday night, deciding that the best course of action was to follow his paranoia and mistrust of youngsters.
Rockies determined to make late September interesting, lose to Padres*5-4 - Purple Row

It's the first really questionable decision Tracy has made since he has been managing the Rockies. I could care less what he did in the past.

I was very encouraged by Aaron Cook last night. Good to get him back in the fold. Marquis is starting to really stumble.
