The Rockies have reportedly added Matt Belisle, Dan Ortmeier, Edwin Bellorin and Cedrick Bowers on minor league deals.
Bellorin and Bowers are being re-signed. Belisle is the only one here with a chance of making the team. He went 1-4 with a 7.28 ERA in six starts for the Reds in a 2008 season wrecked by knee problems, but he's typically been an adequate middle reliever.
Scott Podsednik was also added today on a minor league deal. Ortmeier was not given a fair chance last year with the Giants and think he could make it somewhere if he has a good spring. He is one of the very few Barry Bonds took time out to help someone with their hitting. Ortmeier can play first and OF.
