He can handle it just fine. Giants have only had one "real" closer since Nen went down and that was Benitez who was hurt throughout his contract. Tim Worrell had a decent year at closer too but was better as a setup man. Wilson is young enough to handle it and could still be a closer someday. I would only offer Fuentes a three year deal considering how old he is. After those three years, Wilson would be Joe Nathan's age when he first starting closing. We all know how well that has worked out. Giants need bullpen help either way.

Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com reports that the Rockies are unable to trade Brian Fuentes before the August 31 deadline because moving him to bereavement leave Tuesday canceled his placement on waivers.
According to Rosenthal, "Fuentes is not eligible to come off the bereavement list until Friday" and "if the Rockies again placed him on waivers then, he would not clear until after the Sunday deadline for postseason rosters." A pretty huge mistake if the Rockies were planning to trade Fuentes, but indications are that they'd decided to likely keep the impending free agent.
That ends that! Teams hoping to get bullpen help are now ****ed!
