So that leaves the Rockies, who I hope lose to the Angels in the big dance.

If I were buying into that bullshit I'd one up it and say that I hope the Rockies win the WS, but I don't hope that.

I still hold some bitterness seeing this, but it's pretty cool to see Helton finally reach the World Series.

Congratulations to the Rockies on a great run thusfar in the post-season. The worst thing that could happen to them is happening -- they don't play again until a week from Wednesday.
At least they will be able to set their pitching rotation the way they want to.
It is a nice problem to have, but can they keep the momentum they have now?

They showed a damn good angle that made me pretty damn sure in my mind that Holliday didn't reach the plate. (Yes, old news. Yes, I know many of you already think this. But there was a game speed angle that was the most convincing that I've seen.) And Helton is the man!
