Pretty sure it wasn't meant as a slight or jab at the Rocks..........as was said it's just a saying used when a team takes a game on the road in the playoffs......thus squashing "homefield advantage"

Rockies are about to win 16 of 17.
I wanted to post this is Padres@Rockies thread but it got locked.. anyway
I would not be surprised to see Padres fans(IMO nothing wrong wit this, he did miss the bag) holding up a sign "Rockies got lucky" or something along the line when the Padres host the Rockies next year.
Hopefully they won't because they didn't get lucky, Padres blew it! Ask Hoffman and Peavy, they will tell you the same thing.

Rocks mashed against us........they just swept us what 2 weeks before ........why would any of us think it was luck.........??
Even if the umps didn't call a terrible game, and make multiple mistakes........even if they get the homeplate call right......you guys were torching Hoffy and who is to say that flame job wouldn't have continued ?
