    Rockies I must say....

that I am VERY impressed with Tulowitzki's game. He has made a couple of throws to just make me think, he did what? He hustles, hits good, and plays SS with no abandon.

Nice player the Rockies have there.

Should have been at the game!! Unbelievable.... I have never seen or listened to a crowd so loud. After 12 years we finally are back in the playoffs. If the bats keep going watch out NL!!

Tulo is awesome. He makes plays at short that I really haven't seen many players be able to do. It astounds me that he is a rookie. What a fun year.

Tulo for ROY.........without question.........there really isn't much of an arguement left for any other player including the human frying pan named Braun.

Not to many of us here in Colorado thought Hoffman would blow it as he did. Pitches were up and that hurt him.

Did you go to the game?
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

I have my tickets for the Phiilies coming to town already as well. Tickets are going fast. It is crazy last night I was offered 500 dollars for my ticket, I turned it down though. Hard to believe the Rockies made it still. They without a question are the team to beat in the NL.

As much as I love Braun, the more and more of watching these Rockies games, the more impressed that I like this Tulowitzki's game.

    Re: I must say....

Tulowitzki doesn't play like a kid, does he? He seems to have everything under control out on the field and takes everything he can get to on the left side of the infield. He is a far better fielder than I thought he would be, although his hitting isn't anything I didn't expect, having followed his short minor-league career. He has hit everywhere he has played.
Nice young player to build a franchise around, although Holliday, Atkins, and Hawpe aren't bad either (not to mention Taveras).
The Rockies could be the team to beat for the next decade.

I believe Atkins is a FA and that doesn't help the Rockies unless they re-sign him of course.

IIRC he is not. However, they have their "#1" prospect Ian Stewart waiting in the wings. They'll most likely get rid of GA which I think is a shitty idea.

Thanks for the information Bowzer, and I agree that Atkins would get the shaft even if Stewart is ready.
