    Nebraska vs. Creighton - Game 2 of 3 - 4/5

I'm sure just about noone cares about this game other then Husker and I but I figure any activity in this forum is good activity.

Nebraska is currently up 1-0 in the top of the 3rd. I wanted to go to this game but the threat of rain scared me off and I have homework to do tonight and don't want to be at the ballpark for hours. I'll just watch on TV .

If anyone else wants to watch it online it is free at http://mynptv.org/nptv/nptv_sports/s...creighton.html.

Leadoff batter walked for Nebraska and now Simocatis(sp?) walked and now Alex Gordon is up with 2 out in the 3rd. Chance for Alex to get Nebraska a big lead.

Ben Mancuso comes into pitch for Creighton. He had a .18 ERA last year for Creighton Prep (HS State Champs over my Mustangs .). Brandon Buckman is the batter and he is walked to load the bases for Curtis Ledbetter (huge power guy).

ESPN will cover the Nebraska/Texas series on Saturday and Sunday. The lineup was scheduled for hockey, but since they are in a lockout, you can thank the NHL for this.

Another former Husker, Collin Shockey doubles to deep left center. Diving try by Fusilier isn't enough. Cuts the lead to 3-1

Last batter hit it deep to left but only warning track power and the score is still 3-1 after 3 innings of play.

Jesse Boyer is up to start the 5th and walks again. 3rd time on base (first 2 he scored on).
Simokaittis is up now. Appears to be bunting. He does and moves Boyer to 2nd for Alex Gordon to try and get RBI #3 for the night.
