Alex Gordon pops it up to the SS. No luck this time. Fusilier will try and drive in the run now with 2 outs. He will be walked to bring up Buckman.

Buckman walks again to load the bases for Ledbetter for the 2nd time in 3 innings. This will be all for Mancusoe. New pitcher will come in to face Ledbetter with the bases full of Huskers. Ledbetter will be batting against Brandon Bird. Once again he grounds out to SS to leave the score 3-1.

Tony Daniel leads off in the bottom of the 5th. He flies out to CF.
Gabe Lapito does the same only a little deeper and harder to track down for Bruce.
David Schultz is up next and he hits it right back to the pitcher who throws to 1st to end the inning. 3-1 Big Red after 5.

Dusty Timm is in for Tony Watson. Norquisdt is the first batter he faces. Strikes him out!!! Huge out for Nebraska. Only need one more to get out of the inning with the lead. Tony Daniel is batting for Creighton. Former Mustang . He smashes a ball to left but Fusilier gets to it to keep the lead.

Scott Reese is the new pitcher for Creighton. Andy Girch comes in and almost got on with an error but they just got hit at first to end the top of the 7th.

    *sighs*
Rosenblatt Stadium hates Nebraska. 0-2 in the CWS and now a loss there this evening. If Nebraska can beat Iowa tomorrow and take at least 2 games from Texas, we should stay in the top 5.

Yea Nebraska has had some tough luck there. A series win from Texas would be awesome. I'm kinda suprised were ranked this high anyways though.

At first, Nebraska was overrated, but sweeping Okie State took that word out of the picture.
