College World Series-Game 2-Arizona State vs. Nebraska

Game time starts at 7pm on ESPN2.

Nebraska hasn't won a game at the CWS in school history. Nebraska made it to the CWS twice with former head coach Dave Van Horn and fell short. I feel that Nebraska will win tonight's game so we can have that all important first win. Nebraska is in a bracket that looks very favorable and our strongest links are the pitching led by Joba Chamberlin and Johnny Dorn. Chamberlin came from a Division Two school in Kearney last year whereas Dorn is being compared to Bob Gibson and he's only a freshman.

I predict Nebraska will win this game 6-3.

Now, make your predictions for tonight's game and I'm not expecting a frenzy of posts since there's not that many people who follow college athletics.

I always look to see if LSU, Long Beach, Fullerton, or SDSU (long shot) make it, none of them did. ASU did though but I hate AZ sports so go Huskers......

That was soooo sweet. Finally got that CWS win! Jobba was really good and the offense was good enough.

I can't wait till Sunday night. I get off work at 6, and the game starts at 6. I actually get to watch the game!

Go to the games? If I had reserved seats I would, but no way I'm waiting in that general admission line. Crazy. Tis pretty sweet here, but a lot of my friends and co workers hate the Huskers.

You could never get into the game with General Admission seats unless you're willing to camp out for 18 hours like some of my friends did. Better off buying seats.

Tell me about it. I wasn't expecting a long line during yesterday's game between Texas/Baylor, but they had a good following and I didn't even bother waiting in line. I wasted $50 on GA tickets. If you watched today's first game, there were a lot of empty seats.

Uhhh tonight sucked. Pitching didn't hold up, or defense. Offense was ok, but it was with 2 outs. Also the PHing that Anderson started doing was stupid.

Anderson was trying to setup a lefty matchup. All of our hitters are basically left-handers.

I realize that but I don't like it. He is taking out good hitters just because he wants a matchup. Give me the guys who have been producing all game.
