Could be a great pick for the Rays. I hope the Redsox go with a Starter, but they have a lot of picks ahead of them. RHP Lance Lynn from the U. of Mississippi is who they are targeting at this moment.

    Re: Draft play-by-play

I have no ****ing clue if any of these players are going to be good, and I don't think anyone else does, so the MLB draft is a waste of time to me.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

I have been paying particular attention to the top 10 (or so) draft spects. I am very excited about this. As a Yankee fan, I would be excited as well as the Boras clients usually fall to teams that will pay.

    Re: Draft play-by-play

The thing with me is, I watch a lot of the guys who get drafted in the NBA in college, I watch a lot of the guys who get drafted in the NFL in college, but college baseball is almost never on TV and forget about high school. So I don't know anything about anyone really.

I get a lot of college baseball. When I ordered the NFL Network; I got like 3 college sports channels that came with it.

Place looks tiny, like a High School gym.

    Re: Draft play-by-play

Place is bigger than my highschool gym that is for sure. The thing is with this draft it does seem like a lot of these top picks in these drafts are rocketing faster and faster to the Major Leagues. The Tampa Bay Rays are now on the clock.

I think every Rays fan has showed up for this draft. It seems like a better turnout for the Rays than at there actually games.

Timothy Beckham. I wonder if he will bend the baseball for the Rays in years to come.
