    Indians and the Playoffs

I think the Indians have a good chance of making it this year and should of made it last year but they do have so very good teams to compete agains. I mean the White Sox usually take first... adn the the Yankees or Red Sox usually take the wild card (which ever one dosent come in first) so they do have a tought spot to overcome but i think this is their year to do it.

    how bout u guys?

Yeah, the Tribe definatly has a chance.

I don't think the White Sox are as improved as everyone says they are.

And the Red Sox have seriously downgraded this year.

So if we don't take the division,we'll definatly take the wild card.

Red Sox have "seriously" downgraded this year?

I see a slight downgrade from Damon to Crisp but I believe Crisp will put up similar numbers to Damon in Fenway.

We slightly downgraded at 3B with Lowell but keep in mind he has the chance to rejuvinate his numbers in Fenway.

We added Josh Beckett to our rotation.

We found a nice LH bat in Pena to platoon in RF with Nixon

Helped our bullpen with additions of Seanez, Riske and Tavarez

All in all, I see a lot of question marks with how well guys like Beckett, Crisp, Lowell and Foulke will do this season but I wouldn't call them "serious" downgrades.
"They asked me if I wanted the ball in Game 6, and I said yes. I'll always say yes. That's what I did with Jack McKeon. I told him, 'Let me see how I feel tomorrow.' I went out, did a long toss, came in and said, 'I'll pitch, I want it, I want to do it.' And it ended up working out." -Josh Beckett

I don't like Pena,he will be of little or no help to your team.I do like Beckett though,if he can stay off the DL and not be so inconsitant, you guys have yourselves the ace of the future. Also,I don't think Lowell will do much this year, his best years are past him.And Coco will be an awesome player, but he won't bring the leadership you lost with Damon.
