Id say CC living up to expectations is more likely to happen. He is still only 25 and has shown flashes of being a very good pitcher during some starts. In general though, this year he has had a fairly rough time. He is 6-9 with a 5.16 ERA, 1.40 WHIP, and a .271 BAA in 120.1 innings. He has had a few very poor starts including one where he went 2.1 innings, giving up 8 runs, all earned, walked 2, and threw 70 pitches. He has also had some very good starts though, including a 8.2 inning performance where he only gave up 3 hits, 1 run, and he struck out 7. His main problem this season has been his control. He gets himself into serious trouble by walking several guys early in games and giving up too many runs to consistantly come back from. If he improves his control and starts focusing more, he could become a dominant starter.

Winning a World Series though is going to be very difficult (obviously). With the Twins, White Sox, and improving Tigers, the Central will be very tough to compete in. We have the offense to do it, but I dont think the pitching is there to compete for the WS. Also, with the Red Sox, Yankees, Angels, and A's, it would be quite a task to get past them in the playoffs if we were to make it.

I'm gonna have to go with that: C.C like you said is still very young. His problem is control and composure. When he gets in a jam it seems like he couldnt pitch in a little league game. He does walk too many hitters.

Cliff Lee winning the Cy Young because Grady doesnt hit enough home runs and drive in a lot of runs so it would be tough to win .

I agree Lee would win the CY Young first. Lee has a 4.02 ERA, which is not CY Young material, but his win loss record is. 12-4 is good. If he could get 20 wins, he would be looked at possibly. Lee has had a real solid season for you guys no doubt.

Tribes chances are as good as my twins. Chicago Boston NY and the A's have to cool off. Or we have no chance at all.

Honestly Cliff or CC have chances at the CY. I picked Cliff at the beginning of last year, and to be honest I definetly saw him as much better than Bartolo Colon. But it'll be hard for him to duplicate that, though it still should be fun to watch.

C.C. living up to expectations. It'll be hard to get to the World Series if we make the playoffs. We can end up facing the White Sox,Red Sox,Yankees,A's,Angels. It won't be easy, but I believe we can do it.

Cliff Lee winning the Cy Young. If anyone on this team has a chance at MVP,it's Haffner or Belliard.
    Cleveland Indians : 0-5, 5th AL Central
Pittsburgh Pirates Record: 3-2. 1st NL Central
