Maybe the Indians will go after Randy Winn, or Aubrey Huff.
I think the Indians should lay low, trade any pieces they don't think will help next year, and play spoiler. The AL is really tough, essentially (if you want to be optimistic), there are 4 playoff spots for 9-11 teams (NYY, BOS, TOR, BAL, CWS, MIN, DET, CLE, TEX, ANA, OAK are the 11), do the Indians want to try for a run being an underdog or save their chips for a better position.
Don't forget, Cleveland is still at the end of their rebuilding process...I don't think they should be too agressive now and wait until the winter to make some moves.
Most analysts are saying the Indians are gonna make a deal this weekend getting rid of Wickman and Millwood could be just a rumor though
The Indians should send Wickman to the Braves.
what are you talking about? They should just trade anyone to the Yanks that Georgie Porgie wants!Quote:

2.5 games behind the Angels right now. I think these Indians can get a playoff birth if they play really hard down the stretch. They have won 9 out of their last 10 games! These Indians are really making a push to the postseason. They are showing that they want it.
Yep. They are doing great. It's nice to see too because of the recent struggles they have had.
They would be a great story if they win the WC. It's feasible, if that occured, that up to two of the four biggest payrolls (two of the NYY, BOS, and ANA) would NOT be in the playoffs which is a fun story. They have the talent to do it...but their SP just doesn't strike you as great and the pen seems shaky with Wickman having his struggles too. I hope for the best, but they'll be even better in the next few seasons.
