Indians Red Sox @ Indians (5/23-5/25)

Great that this series is being played at Progressive Field, but it could be a real challenge for the Tribe to get there bats going against the 3 pitchers they are going up against.

Game 1: Clay Buchholz(4-3/3.42 ERA) vs. Justin Masterson(5-2/2.52 ERA). This could be the best chance for the Indians bats to open up and they should also be patient as Buchholz can have a tendency to miss the strike zone at times.Masterson has been really good the entire season and will be going up against the team that gave up on him earlier in his career.

Game 2: Josh Beckett(3-1/1.73 ERA) vs. Fausto Carmona(3-4/4.76). Beckett is in a groove and can be lights out in any game. The Tribe needs to get on him quick and get to the bullpen or they could be in trouble. Carmona has had his ups and downs in the season. He needs to come out and don't get behind in counts.

Game 3: Jon Lester(6-1/3.68 ERA) vs. Mitch Talbot (1-0/1.46 ERA). Jon Lester is well Jon Lester. He is strong just about everytime he takes the hill. This game is probably going to the toughest of the series for the Tribe to pull out. Talbot is back from the D.L. and it will be really nice to see him continue his early season success and maybe hang with Lester and make this a good game.

After winning game 1 of the series the Indians had to come up against Josh Beckett and he pretty much shut them down. Even hot A-Cab was shut out. The Tribe lost 4-2. Tomorrows game is an afternoon game. I will have the Tribes game going over the speakers in the gym so I don't miss much while I am teaching Phys. Ed.

I don't! I think Mitch Talbot will come back strong and this game will go down to the bullpens and the Indians will win in a walk off HR by Choo 4-3.

Yeah Talbot was horrible. The radio broadcast said he had everything high in strike zone. The Red Sox are in a zone right now and teeing off.
