Attention! Good way to open 2011

Carmona ties a 1912 or 1919, can't remember which, record for most earned runs allowed on an opening day start with 10. His ERA sits at 30.00. The Mets should get this guy.

Not to be out done, sorta, Will Ohman starts his season with a 40.50 ERA. Pitching was purely optional in Cleveland.

Why is Mark Shapiro such a great GM, again?

I mean, besides having Carlos Santana handed to him on a silver platter from McCourt/Colletti?

I almost, ALMOST picked up Carmona in your league KoZ. Glad I didn't.

I don't think Carmona has ever put up back to back quality seasons. Good start to being consistently inconsistent again.

Less than 10,000 people showed up for the second game. Lowest attendance ever at Jacob's Field.

shitty team + shitty owner + shitty economy = shitty attendance.

I can only hope Frank and Jamie McFuckhead are taking note.
