Indians take first game of double header

    Indians - 9
    Tigers - 3

Elarton pitched a complete game for the first time as an Indian and the fourth time in his career. He gave up 6 hits, 3 earned runs, and had 6 Ks. Pretty impressive since he hasnt been pitching that well this year. He is now 5-3 on the season with a 4.79 ERA. The other story of the game was Travis Hafner. He was 4 of 5 with 3 runs, 2 HRs, and 5 RBI. He has been on fire of late with 6 HRs and 21 RBI in the last 10 games. Pretty good game and hopefully we can continue to play like this.

    Game two of double header:

    (37-42) at (45-36)

    Detroit - Justin Verlander (0-0)
    Cleveland - Jason Davis (3-2), 5.50 ERA

Verlander is going to be making his first major league start. Davis will be making is fourth start of the season. Hopefully we can carry the momentum from the day game and take the first two games of the four game series.
