    Indians Indians Make Some Moves

Indians signed RHP Juan Rincon to a minor league contract.
Cut loose by the Twins last week, Rincon stays in the AL Central and will try to make it back to the majors with Cleveland. His performance has declined each season since 2004 and he's now a shell of his former dominant self, but at 29 years old Rincon may still have some value left as a middle reliever. Minnesota is on the hook for his entire $2.5 million salary, so there's little risk involved for the Indians and Rincon could get a look in the second half.

Indians signed infielder Tony Graffanino to a minor league contract.
The 35-year-old Graffanino is making his way back from multiple offseason knee surgeries.
The Indians needed some more arms in relief and a backup infielder. I don't expect any immediate impacts if impacts at all but will come in handy down the road.

With all the injuries problems especially to Barfield at 2B and the Indians using Jamie Carroll there now. Tony Graffanino could see some playing time.

Rincon could be an asset in the bullpen. He still has good stuff, but his mind is messed up a bit right now. Perhaps a different coaching attitude will help?
Graffanino gives the Tribe some versatility in their infield. He can play anywhere.
