Indians signed INF Morgan Ensberg to a minor league contract and assigned him to Triple-A Buffalo.
As we said when he was released by the Yankees a week ago, the 33-year-old has hit just .225/.308/.371 in 143 games dating back to last season. He'll provide organizational depth for a team that could look to start selling pieces soon.

Have no fear folks, Ensberg will save the season! The Indians lose two second basemen and they get this guy?? What the hell are they thinking? I guess he can hit better than Andy Marte so maybe that;s what they're thinking.

He is going to play 2B? When has he ever played 2b? I always thought he was a 3B, and not a very good one at that.

No Bon Bon, he will not play second or at least hope not. I was making the point they have only Jamey Carroll playing second and they get a washed up third and first baseman. Not smart.
