Injury V-Mart headed to the D.L.

All Star Victor Martinez is heading to the 15 day d.l. and maybe for more than that with an inflamed right elbow. Victor has yet to hit a homerun this season which is a huge surprise to the Cleveland Indians. Maybe this elbow trouble was what has been keeping his power numbers down so far this season. Hopefully he can come back injury free and resume playing the quality ball he is capable of.

With his hamstring issue, the guy needs to just heal. What good are you if you have less power than Jason Kendall?

By the way, Kendall hit a homerun recently.

That's a tough break for the Indians, I didn't realize the injury was that severe. If it's 8 weeks, he wouldn't be back until late August(after a couple rehab games)
