Love the pitching matchup for game 1. Probably the two front-runners for the Cy Young huh?

Can't wait to watch both series, but this particular game intrigues me the most.

This game is gonna be great. The two best pitchers in the AL going at it for the AL Pennant. Damn, there is nothing better.

Are there even any Boston fans here? Or do they just stick to their little section and drink (or after this series cry in) their Sam Adams?

I won't be able to get online until after the game. I'll be at The Jake for the free watch party.

Sabathia sucked tonight. Wedge stuck with him too long, but it's not like our pen did much damage control either.

Aaron Fultz is GARBAGE! Why the hell is that bum even on the postseason roster?

Mike Hamilton, the Indians radio voice, made a very good observation. During the season Cleveland would change their rotation to make sure Sabathia pitched every 5 days. He waited seven days for this start, and that might have had something to do with his bad performance today.

I sure hope Carmona comes out and pitches like he did in Game 2 of the ALDS.

    Oh yeah.....BUCK FOSTON!

    Final Score:

    Indians- 3
    Red Sox- 10

Boston Red Sox lead ALCS 1-0

    Winning pitcher: Josh Beckett (2-0)
    Losing pitcher: C.C. Sabathia (1-1)

Player of the Game: Manny Ramirez. He drove in a few runs and made some really impressive defensive plays. I dunno who was playing out in left, but he did look like Man-Ram.

Not considering he also pitched badly in his start against the Yankees.

He didn't pitch that bad in his Game 1 start against the Yanks.

4 hits, 3 earned runs in 5 innings isn't horrible and he still got the win.
